Round 3: Ice Shard Vs. Confide

This fight was not over yet, the furfrou and the glaceon stood on opposite ends of the battle ground staring each other down.  Their gazes filled with ice and fire, two very potent elements that never played well together.  Epi took a slight step forward, but pulled her paw back, she knew how this went, he was waiting for her to make the first move, but this time she refused. He would have to make the first move or nothing at all would happen.

Vitamin K stared at her with a look of confidence, but it slowly wavered as he realized she was catching on to the game.  She would not make this first move and so he had to readjust his plans.  "First I'll try starting up a blizzard again," he thought," then I'll see if I can't work up another little surprise for her.  I cannot and will not loose this thing!"  He crouched low to the ground and commanded his element to raise up.  A large and vicious blizzard began to fill the air once again, but Epi knew what to do this time.  Quickly she performed her newfound move sunny day and created a brilliantly clear sky with a bright shining sun.  Vitamin K looked at her with a fierce expression and growled, he knew they couldn't keep going back and forth in this manner so he decided not to try that again.

Epi stared him down, her confidence was back up and she was done waiting.  Surging forward she grabbed hold of his tail and flung him upwards, unfortunately he picked up on her move and landed square on her back.  Sinking his ice laden teeth into her neck fur he found no real weak spot, but it sure did make her yelp and throw a fit when she felt the cold slither down the back of her spine.  He rode on her back like a cowboy on a bucking bronco, but he wasn't about to loose his hold.  Epi thought quick and rolled over to make him let go, which he did.  Vitamin K shook himself off and glared at her with dagger like eyes.  He opened his mouth and let out a screeching cry and from the air around him formed ice crystals, they glittered brilliantly in the sunlight as they hovered there.

Epi watched them perform a strange dance in the air, she was mesmerized by them.  Suddenly they shot at her smashing into her body and creating ice where ever they hit. She yelped and growled with the pain as they found her weak points.  Her furry form blurred past him as she ran away from his ice shards, anything to escape him.  Then she had an idea, a quiet nasty idea, but she thought it could help her so she wasn't so bothered by its wickedness.

Vitamin K laughed at her retreating form, but what was that?  She had stopped, he prepared more of his ice crystals, but something was different about how she approached him.  Her gait was slow and her head was lowered, her tail was in between her legs.  He smiled, she was surrendering.

Epi approached and sat down, "I just have to say one thing before I give in to you."  Vitamin K nodded with a smirk on his face.  "I've, well this is harder to say than I thought, but I've always thought you were kinda cute."

Vitamin K lost it, he froze up and fell over backwards.  Had this been a cartoon one would have seen the hearts in his eyes and love birds flying overhead.  This was not a cartoon however and Epi took her opportunity, she leapt onto Vitamin K's frozen form and put her fangs to his neck as she exclaimed, "I win!"
