Now I'm In Trouble

Hypnotiq jumped over the fallen log and landed with a thud on the other side.  The small dust cloud cleared and she blinked it away from her eyes, she was only a tad but lost among the trees.  Looking around nothing seemed familiar, but she knew by the scents that she was still in her home territory.  The sun was beginning to sink lower in the sky and she could tell that soon she would be lost in utter darkness.

Quickly she stood up and began walking again, but she wasn't quiet sure if it was the right direction to go.  Suddenly she could hear the calls of other sabati, they were looking for her she could tell.  The voice of her mother came through the clearest and most desperate sounding.  She sat down again and stared at the dirt under her paws, her mother had always told her if she was lost to stay put and that would make it easier for those looking to find you.  So she supposed that if she stayed put her mother and the rest of the pack would find her sooner.  A sigh escaped her, she knew that she was in big trouble for going out on her own.
