Description
Story: The wind blew in the dark coated tokota's face as he galloped across the grassy terrain. His rider bounced along in the saddle with a smile alighting their face. The journey was quickly coming to an end and thus far there had been no problems. It was a pleasant few days of spending time together and getting in time with the nature all around them. Ahead they could see nothing but a clear path through a sweet looking meadow.
As they crossed the meadow the air grew quiet. They slowed down to a near crawl startled by the sudden silence. Not a single other animal appeared to be around, not even the bugs were making noises. Ataneq looked down at his paws as he walked, a good thing too. Before him the earth suddenly opened up like a wide mouth ready to swallow them whole. He stood at the edge and looked down into it, neither rider not tokota said a word. They were stuck and would have to somehow find a way around this, but how. Ataneq looked around and began walking along side the edge, never removing his eyes from the ground. He was afraid to fall into the huge ravine.
Quickly he noticed that the gap was narrowing and looking up ahead he could see that the ground went over the ravine. He picked up his pace and ran for it. Soon they were on their way again, the ravine fading behind them. One obstacle down, who knows how many more to face.
